Barriers and Blocks

If you want to achieve your goals you need to remove the barriers that are getting in your way. One of those barriers is not being mindful.

Mindfulness, for the last few years, has been the buzzword for becoming a better you but, as some practitioners would have you believe, it’s not all about lying down and closing your eyes for an hour.

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to whatever is happening in the present moment and experiencing it without judgement.

Anyone can practice mindfulness. It is easy to fit into your day. You can do it one minute at a time.

Many people find they cannot be mindful because there are things getting in their way. We use the excuse of “I don’t have the time” or “I’m too stressed at the moment” but really there are very few excuses that are worthy paying attention to.
